The Proseč tennis club that will host the 2009 Global Games tennis tournament features eight outdoor clay courts, along with three clay courts in an air-supported structure and a single indoor regupol court in winter months. In addition, the club center includes a bouncing wall, children's court and all necessary background facilities: club house, gym, whirlpool and sauna.
The original complex built in 1927 underwent general reconstruction and extensions in the eighties. In addition to the courts, the background facilities were refurbished and a new indoor court was built. The beautiful surroundings attract players of all ages from beginners to pros. In the summer months, the center is commonly used by NHL professionals to train ahead of the new season, and the Jagr Team of ice-hockey professionals has organized several exhibition tennis matches on these courts.
During the regular season, the courts are mainly used by the players of the ČLTK Jablonec nad Nisou tennis club, one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in the Czech Republic that focuses on young players and scouting. Immediately after the end of the 2009 Global Games, the courts will host an international junior tournament of the Tennis Europe Junior Tour.
