OLYMPIC VILLAGE SPORTS HALL, THE HARCOV CAMPUS

The sports center located near the college dormitories in the Harcov district of Liberec is mainly used by the students of the Liberec Technical University. The student facility was refurbished ahead of the World Cross Country Skiing Championships hosted by Liberec in 2009.

The sports center includes a stadium with a tennis court, football pitch and a beach volleyball court, two gymnasiums for futsal, floorball and basketball, a sauna and a gym. Further facilities include aerobics and spinning classes and a boulder wall. The sports center will host a demonstration sport – indoor rowing event of the 2009 Global Games.
