ROWING

Rowing will be a demonstration game at the Global Games. The athletes will have the opportunity to try a ride on a rowing machine in the Global Village throughout the entire Games. Three events will be held within the rowing demonstration: the men's event, women's event and a relay 4x1 km event for mixed teams. Special 4x500 m relay events will be organized for the officials and coaches of participating delegations.

Indoor rowing has been added to the Global Games program as a demonstration sport on a proposal by Ms. Fay Ho Kim Fai of Hong Kong who chairs the rowing section of the International Sports Federation for People with an Intellectual Disability INAS-FID.
